Vehicles must be used when visiting recycling centres. The recycling centres are specifically designed for vehicle drop-offs and do not facilitate pedestrians. This means it is not permitted to access them on foot for safety reasons.
But if you have a small amount of waste or plan to discard of it on foot then there are alternatives. You can use one of Leeds’s many recycling points. The points are situated around the city and take things like batteries, textiles, paper, glass and plastic.
If you don’t have a vehicle and can’t recycle on foot
We can collect your waste from anywhere inside or outside the property. And you don’t need to lift a finger. We take all waste to a recycling facility and provide you with the paperwork to prove a legal and ethical disposal. Click here to book online now.
